 Mad Hatter Costume Hat Numbers? How come in the Sexy Mad Hatter costume the numbers on the hat are changed from the original? My guess is the designer was trying to be hip and trendy without realizing what the original numbers mean. 10/6 is the price of the hat: 10 and 6 (could be pence or pounds or shillings, I've never really understood the British monetary system). 420 is a numerical code for marijuana, specifically smoking marijuana. |
